I remember thinking how much fun it was to follow the character (not sure what it was) LOL who went from animal to animal to find his true identity. Then, There were old books on the family book shelf and this gal loved "Louisa Alcott", who was a little prankster. It was written by Jean brown Wagoner and also I remember reading a whole bunch of "The Bobbsey Twins" series that my mom had.
